When Someone You Know - Part 5 - Is Stressed Out
December 13, 1992
45:02:00
SUMMARY
Using the story of Mary and Martha, this sermon addresses how constant stress causes people to skim energy away from physical health, relationships, and their spiritual lives. Pastor Jay warns that a highly stressed heart becomes shriveled and brittle, making a person more susceptible to sin and emotional implosion. To combat stress, believers are encouraged to sit at Jesus' feet, regain perspective by reordering their schedules, and intentionally pursue activities that recreate their spirits.
