The Ten Commandments - Part 6 - God's Most Sacred Gift

The sixth commandment prohibits murder because life is a gift from God and only He possesses the authority to determine its end. Jesus expanded this prohibition to include verbal violence, teaching that hateful words and character assassination are spiritual equivalents to physical murder. Indifference toward those in need is also highlighted as a violation of the sanctity of life, calling believers to actively care for the hungry and suffering.
