Rut-Busters - Part 1 - Dynamics of Transformation
October 22, 1989
29:02:00
SUMMARY
Spiritual transformation requires discipline, which is defined as being under-disciplined for growth to close the gap between the ideal and real Christian life. The essence of discipline is delayed gratification, where one faces the pain of spiritual exercises now to enjoy Christ-likeness and liberty later. Specific practices, such as fasting, solitude, and corporate worship, are instruments God uses to sensitize the spirit and transform the heart.
