Prayer has two primary faces: building an intimate relationship with the Father and fulfilling a responsibility to use the keys of the kingdom. Relational prayer involves talking to and singing to God throughout the day, while responsibility in prayer means actively wrestling against spiritual strongholds. Because God has chosen to limit some of His actions on earth to the prayers of His people, systematic and corporate prayer is essential for the church to make a difference.
