Getting A Good Start

The service begins with a strong focus on spiritual warfare, using songs and scripture to remind the congregation that their true battles are against heavenly powers rather than flesh and blood. Guest speakers provide updates on missions work in Maui and recruit volunteers for telephone counseling through the local CBN office. The congregation also gathers for a solemn time of prayer for a family in the church following a tragic and violent local crime.
