From Failure to Fullness IV, Shoes, Faith in Motion

SUMMARY
Dr. Passavant concludes a series on the Prodigal Son by linking the father’s gift of shoes to God’s promises and moving into the fullness of life. Using Israel’s unbelief in Numbers 13–14, he warns that three forces hinder believers: preoccupation with the past, present fears, and paralysis about the future. He emphasizes that faith means advancing despite these forces. Drawing on Ephesians 6:15, he urges listeners to stand firm, keep moving, and trust God to overcome obstacles rather than die in the “wilderness” of unbelief.
